Hi, I'm Jordan Schnurman, founder of Shepherd Solutions.
My focus is Power BI solutions that scale, semantic modeling, production DAX, governance, and custom AI solutions built on top of clean data. Big data is in the wheelhouse, but BI and AI are the headline.
I built Shepherd Solutions to bring best-practice work to companies that deserve more than another spreadsheet. I'm constantly innovating, fine-tuning models, evaluating new BI patterns, and folding what works into the offerings. Every solution ships with a written glossary so your team can extend it without us.

The name comes from a love of shepherd dogs.
Shepherd Solutions is named after my three shepherd rescues. They've changed my life, every one of them came from a hard situation and ended up running the household.
Naming the business after them was intentional. Shepherd is a way for me to give back, to support shepherd-dog rescues and the people who pour their lives into saving these animals.
The same instinct shows up in the work itself: shepherding your data, your analysts, and your decisions out of chaos and into something dependable.

Every shepherd in my house came from a rescue. Giving back to that community is part of why this business exists, and part of why I take the work seriously enough to ship it right.
